Live Wedding Painting
Hello 2026 & 2027 Brides!
If your looking for a live painter who paints timelessly and tastefully, I am your girl!
I paint in an impressionistic style and strive to create paintings that not only capture your special day but are Fine Original Artworks that you'll want to admire for years to come!
WHAT TO EXPECT
From the moment I arrive, my goal is to create a painting that feels as alive as your wedding day itself. I typically arrive about an hour before your event begins to set up my easel, mix my palette, and soak in the atmosphere. During your ceremony, I begin sketching the composition and capturing the light and colors of the day as they unfold.
For The Keepsake Package, I paint for about 2–3 hours, usually through your ceremony and cocktail hour, capturing the essence of your moment in a soft, timeless way. With The Heirloom Package, I stay a bit longer, painting into dinner or dancing so I can capture more of the magic and fine details. And with The Legacy Experience, I’m there for the full celebration, painting late into the evening, absorbing the laughter, lights, and love that fill the room to ensure your story lives on in every brushstroke.
At the end of the evening, I’ll carefully take the painting back to my studio to complete the final layersrefining details, deepening the colors, and sealing the piece with a high-quality archival varnish. Once it’s fully dry and ready, your painting will be packaged and shipped (or hand-delivered locally) within 1–2 weeks, ready to hang as the ultimate memorabilia of your wedding day and love story!

Frequently Asked Questions
What percentage do I pay upon booking?
Typically, a 25% retainer is required upon booking to reserve your wedding date. However, if you choose to pay in full upfront, I offer a discounted rate depending on the package selected, with savings ranging from $500 to $3,000 off
Do you work from a photo?
Yes and no! You tell me what pose you'd like to be in and I will often use a stock reference to block the general composition in, so no posing needed on your part! However, I will snap a quick photo of you to reference when adding all the details of your outfits, jewelry, florals, etc.
Can you add more detail to the background?
I like to keep the background soft and impressionistic so that you and your fiancé stay at the forefront. However, couples will often have me depict their archway, flowers, or even a soft rendering of the mountain line behind them!
Where will you set up?
At the ceremony, I usually set up behind one of the rows of pews or off to either side of them. This way, I can stay out of the photographer's way and still have a good view of the couple. During the cocktail hour and reception, I'm happy to set up anywhere!
Do you finish the piece the night of the wedding?
The painting will be substantially completed during the event, so your guests can enjoy watching it come to life. However, I complete the final refinements and varnish the painting in my studio afterward. Then I will either ship or hand-deliver once it is dry (usually within 2 weeks)
Do the guests interact with you?
Yes! Guests love stopping by throughout the night to watch the painting progress. I love chatting with them, and brides often tell me that their guests couldn't stop talking about the painting!
Do you Travel?
Yes! If your venue is located outside of the Northern Colorado\Denver Area, Travel prices may vary; however, I love to travel and try to keep travel fees as low as possible!
Do you paint weddings that have already passed?
Yes! I do this all the time and will often use one of the photos from the wedding as a reference. My pricing for post-wedding paintings starts at $1800 for a 22" by 28" canvas. These make the best anniversary gifts!
